U13 Blues
We are a new team that have just been formed and joined the club in the summer of 2024.
We have a small squad of 10 playing in the Premier division of the Russell Foster league with several of our players representing the districts of North Tyneside and East Northumberland.
The majority of the boys started at the same Under 7's Team but have gone separate ways in their football journeys until we have managed to get them back together for this Saturday team.
U13 Girls
New Fordley U13s Girls have been together a couple of years.
We first started off as a mixed team of boys and girls. Since making an all girls team we have grown from strength to strength and we now have 15 girls of which 4 have taken up the challenge to play a year up.
We are currently in Division 7 in the NFL Mixed, playing home and away games on Sundays. Playing against mixed teams mainly means we come up against teams of all boys or with 1 or 2 girls. We love the challenge and last year managed to win our division.
We have such a great bunch of girls and they love playing/training together. 4 of the girls play for both Saturday and Sunday Fordley teams.
There is a mix of girls from around northumberland/north tyneside within the squad.
We have 3 volunteers involved at the moment: Ben as coach of the team, Paul & Oxy as assistants. We believe having fun is the most important aspect but we do our best to ensure the girls also learn and improve week in week out.
